Incredible Film, beIN sign distribution deal for Saïd & Anna
April 8, 2024

International sales agent Incredible Film has announced a distribution deal with beIN Neo, part of the beIN Media Group, for the live action pre-school series Saïd & Anna. beIN Neo will handle distribution of the series across MENA territories, where Saïd & Anna will be available in Arabic, English and French on free to air, pay-TV and VoD.
Saïd & Anna, which has been nominated for this year’s Banff World Media Festival‘s Rockie Awards, follows best friends Saïd and Anna who hang out every day in the repair shop, and learn how to find solutions to their own challenges, in a creative and collaborative way. The live-action series is a coproduction between three public broadcasters – the Netherlands’ EO / NPO Zappelin, Germany’s SWR / Kika, and Belgium’s VRT / Ketnet. The series incorporates important themes including reflecting a diverse and inclusive reality and environmentalism. The series has already secured distribution in Norway and Sweden.
As part of the new partnership, beIN Neo will also handle the distribution across MENA territories of select titles from Incredible Film’s kids slate including the feature film A Most Annoying Island and the animated short form series Pim & Pom at The Museum.
A Most Annoying Island follows the story of a smart, shy and partially hearing 12-year-old boy who strives to break a centuries-old curse that makes every resident and visitor of a strange, small island insufferable to be around. The shortform animated series Pim & Pom at The Museum is based around two curious cats Pim & Pom who take children on a journey through the world of art.
Daniëlle Raaphorst, CEO of Incredible Film, commented: “We are delighted to announce this new deal with beIN Neo, which further reflects the international appeal of Saïd & Anna and its ability to resonate with young audiences around the world. beIN Media Group are a global leader in the international TV market, and we’re pleased to be partnering with them on this series, A Most Annoying Island and Pim & Pom at The Museum. We look forward to sharing our slate with further international partners at MIPTV this month.”
