OneGate Media has licensed all 24 episodes of the hit German TV series Vet Jacobs – Agent on Occasion (ARD) to the Italian free-to-air crime channel Giallo, part of the Warner Bros Discovery network, with three new episodes currently in production.

Vet Jacobs – Agent on Occasion (OT: Nord bei Nordwest), which is produced by Triple Pictures, has established itself as an audience favourite in Germany. With consistently high market shares of over 20 per cent and a record of 30 per cent on ARD, the series regularly engages a large audience. The blend of thrilling crime stories, charming characters, and the idyllic setting on the Baltic Sea coast has proven to be a recipe for success.

Bolstering its portfolio of series with global appeal, OneGate Media recently sold episodes of the series Tatort to multiple territories, and licensed the series Baltic Crimes (Der Usedom-Krimi) in 95 countries. OneGate has also seen success with various feel-good productions and children’s series like The Peppercorns (Die Pfefferkörner) which has sold to several global markets including Scandinavia and Italy, where it airs on RAI.
