DAZN hires Knappy as as Chief Marketing & Customer Officer

DAZN, the sports streaming platform, has named Adam Knappy as Chief Marketing & Customer Officer.
Knappy will oversee all group marketing activities, platform trading and customer engagement. His appointment comes at a watershed moment, with DAZN set to stream the FIFA Club World Cup this summer to fans around the world for free.
Knappy joins DAZN from THG, an e-commerce powerhouse, where he spent 14 years, with the last six years focused on shaping the company’s marketing and media strategy. As Group Chief Marketing Officer and CEO of THG Media, he centralised marketing operations and led a marketing and customer function of over 700 people. Knappy also spearheaded the launch and growth of THG’s Media division, acquiring City AM and digitally transforming the business whilst doubling the user base within its first year.
