DAZN signs Women’s Elite Rugby, World Sevens Football deals

DAZN, the sports streaming platform, is now the global broadcast partner of Women’s Elite Rugby (WER), the first professional women’s rugby union league in the US
Fans will be able to watch all Women’s Elite Rugby games live and on-demand for free only on DAZN. The league’s inaugural season starts on March 22nd and will run until June 29th, offering viewers 30 regular season games that culminate in Grand Final. Six teams from across the US will compete to secure their place in rugby history: Bay Breakers, Boston Banshees, Chicago Tempest, Denver Onyx, New York Exiles and Twin Cities Gemini.
DAZN will also broadcast a new, mid-week magazine show which will showcase the best moments from every game.

DAZN has also announced ia global broadcasting, production, sales and marketing partnership with World Sevens Football, a grand slam series for professional women footballers.
DAZN will broadcast the inaugural World Sevens Football event from May 21st-23rd to fans around the world. The first of the three-day competitions in 2025 will see eight clubs come head-to-head in Estoril, Portugal, with a $5 million prize pool up for grabs.
DAZN will also collaborate with World Sevens Football on sub-licensing and marketing, leveraging its global reach, market-leading technology and powerful marketing engine to accelerate the growth of the competition and tap into an ever-expanding audience of football fans around the world.
