TATSUJIN launches Arcade Toaplan on iOS, Android

TATSUJIN, a Japanese video game publisher founded by industry veteran Masahiro Yuge, and one of the original founders of the celebrated arcade developer Toaplan, have announced the availability of Amusement Arcade Toaplan for iOS and Android mobile platforms.
Toaplan was a popular arcade game developer in the 80s and 90s that had a huge influence in the shoot ‘em up genre. To celebrate 40 years of Toaplan arcade masterpieces, TATSUJIN brings arcade action to the palm of your hand with Amusement Arcade Toaplan with coin-op classics which can be played anytime, anywhere. Amusement Arcade Toaplan is free to download on iOS and Android.
Amusement Arcade Toaplan includes the original celebrated shoot ‘em up Truxton for free, and demo versions of five games. More classic games can be purchased in-app. In total there are 25 classic Toaplan titles. The games can be played with tailored, customisable touch controls, or by connecting external controllers.
Games that can be downloaded to purchase include: Tiger Heli, Guardian, Alcon/Slap Fight, Sky Shark/Flying Shark, Pyros/Wardner, Twin Cobra, Rally Bike, Truxton, Hellfire, Twin Hawk, Horror Story, Zero Wing, Fire Shark, Snow Bros, Outzone, Vimana, Teki-Paki, Ghox, Truxton II, Fixeight, Dogyuun, Grind Stormer, Knuckle Bash, Batsugun and Snow Bros 2.
Demo games available to try free of charge include: Tiger Heli, Wardner, Flying Shark, Snow Bros and Teki-Paki.
