WWE and Netflix have announced that WWE: Unreal, a new reality series, is coming to the streaming platform this summer.

For the first time ever, the series will allow fans to step into the WWE writer’s room and outside the ring with some of the biggest WWE Superstars, where the drama is often just as intense offstage as it is under the spotlight. Viewers can witness how WWE Chief Content Officer, Paul ‘HHH’ Levesque, along with his creative team and roster of talent, prepare and create WWE’s live spectacles.

“We’re going to lift the curtain,” promised Levesque. More details regarding the show will be revealed soon.

WWE: Unreal is part of Netflix’s growing partnership with WWE — one that kicked off in a significant way in January with Raw, SmackDown, NXT and Premium Live Events – including WrestleMania this past weekend – streaming live on the platform all around the world.

Additionally, WWE has reported that WrestleMania 41 was the most-viewed WrestleMania of all time, up 114 per cent from the record set in 2024 at WrestleMania XL. The PLE also became the most socially viewed WWE event of all-time, generating 1.1 billion social views throughout the weekend, whilst WWE’s YouTube channel saw its most-viewed day ever on WrestleMania Sunday (April 20th).

WrestleMania 41 saw Seth Rollin defeat Roman Reigns and CM Punk in a triple-threat match in the main event of Night 1, whilst John Cena defeated Cody Rhodes in the climax of Night 2 to become a record-breaking 17-time WWE World Champion.

During WrestleMania weekend, WWE also announced that it has acquired Mexican lucha libre promotion AAA.
